As the Christmas festivities ramp up (Dinner at my house, for family including 2 vegetarians, one of which is gluten free!). Dinner this year includes:
Appetizers: Shrimp ring, Cheese things (family recipe), veggies and dip
Dinner: Turkey with cornbread stuffing, vegetarian pot pies, bean casserole, corn, sweet potatoes, roast potatoes, gravy
Dessert: Chai Poached Pears with Chai sorbet (recipe here), various Christmas cookies including coconut laddu (recipe here) which is gluten free.
First a big, thanks to all your comments. For some reason I have an extremely difficult time leaving comments on other blogs because signing in with the blogger id rarely recognizes my wordpress login. If anyone can share a work arround that would be appreciated!
Drumroll please: I’d like to offer a present to my sewing friends & blog readers!
Over the years I’ve collected quite a few free pattern downloads. I have them all on my trusty computer. If you would like these, leave a comment and I can see your e-mail, then I can send them to you. They are all PDF’s and they were free – it’s just hard to find them if you are looking – mine are all in one place!
Merry Christmas to you and your families, I hope to get some sewing done in around all this cooking, cleaning, and visiting. I have 3 UFO’s (suede leggings, New Look sheath and a Vogue winter jacket from a year ago to make headway on!)
I would love to have your free pattern PDF’s! Hopefully I’ll be able to post here and Merry Christmas to you!
Although I thank you very much for your kind offer, I am not in need of any more patterns — have more than I can sew right now! But I wanted to thank you for your recipe hints for Christmas dinner, and extend my greetings for a very merry Christmas to you and yours. I “sew” enjoy reading your blog, and learning from your sewing adventures . . . many thanks and good wishes.

Merry Christmas to you and your family! I would love it if you’d send the patterns
Merry Christmas and a Happy new year! Your Christmas menu sounds yummm!!
And yes, I’d LOVE the free PDF patterns please. Thank you for offering them. What a wonderful gift!
I get your problem with using your wordpress id on blogger world! I switched from wordpress to blogger recently and went through all that pain before moving.. I moved for a different reason (not able to see updated blogroll base don latest content) but did find a few ways to work around the blogger issues.
You can register on disqus or open id which will make it easy to comment on blogger. For open id to work, you have to be signed into your wordpress account.
Also, many blogger blogs offer a name/url option which you can use as well.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Would also love to have the patterns. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
